If it is your first appointment please allow up to 90 minutes as this will give you chance to talk through matters such as: the pain you’re experiencing, pre-existing conditions and work and lifestyle factors that may be relevant.
In the main, Adrian is able to work through clothing. However, some injuries may require access to legs, hips, shoulders etc. It is advisable that you wear comfortable clothing such as sports shorts and tops. We also supply towels to preserve your modesty.
Should you wish to bring a chaperone, you are more than welcome to do so. For those under the age of 18 a chaperone is compulsory and must be the child’s/young person's parent or legal guardian.
Adrian will always work within his scope of practice so please do not be offended if you are asked to consult with your medical practitioner prior to commencing therapy.
Appointments are available at our clinic at Golf4U, Unit 66 Maple Leaf Business Park, Manston and a mobile service is also available for those who cannot access the studio due to disability.
What else can I expect?
If Adrian believes you will benefit from Kinesio Tape, this will be provided at no extra cost.
Where appropriate, Adrian will provide you with full, bespoke, post-treatment advice. This may include: specialised stretches and/or exercises which you should complete to support your recovery and ongoing improvement. Everything is clear and jargon free but if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
